Washington (CNN)White House chief of staff Mark Meadows told Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn he needed to grant an emergency use authorization for Pfizer/BioNTech's coronavirus vaccine by the end of Friday, and if not, he needs to resign, an administration official and a source familiar with the situation tell CNN.

It mean, the law literally applies just as well now and it makes perfect sense. The age of the law is literally irrelevant.

As for the Trump thing, he wants the vaccine to be expedited one day. That's not enough for me to even begin to doubt its efficacy, considering the Pfizer vaccine a) wasn't even part of the Warp Speed program and b) the phase three trials were very positive.

Potaato? Potahto? Biden? Let's not quibble over semantics.
