The meme itself was inspired by something another memer said that I thought was well-put.

If you feel aggrieved by my decision, take it up with another PoliticsTOO mod or with a site mod.

I re-featured the meme with comments disabled because there is absolutely nothing objectionable from a TOS standpoint about the content of this meme. In fact, it is a lesson on how to treat others online with respect not to mention comply with the law.

Why should Timber’s harassing conduct mean that I lose my freedom of speech to feature any meme I want, particularly one that is about treating others with respect?

Let’s play this out

If I had to unfeature every meme where Timber is targeting other users, then he could quickly force me to unfeature every single meme in PoliticsTOO by resorting to spam. If you’ve seen him in action, then you know he can type a mile a minute and he also keeps all of his comments screenshotted and/or saved in a word Doc on his computer in order to circumvent deletion so he can quickly spam them again after modded.

If you want to know why there are so many deleted comments here, that is why. He plain old does not recognize the authority of any stream mod or site mod. He thinks he is entitled to say anything anywhere, period.

The proper solution is to delete his comments, and ultimately, ban his account. Just like acuity12 decided.

He’s already made that judgment call. Deleting his next alt who is doing the same thing and worse should not be that difficult.

I disagree; his behavior with this alt account hasn’t changed at all. In fact he’s more unhinged than he used to be.

He popped on this meme and started being obtuse and hateful; spamming comments, etc. He was the instigator here as he usually is. I warned him that his commentary would not be tolerated, particularly if someone complained, and someone did complain.

We put the needs of our users first; known trolls, particularly those who have already been banned get much less benefit of the doubt than our regular users.

Someone here ITT made a similar threat to quit PoliticsTOO unless I did my job and modded Timber’s hateful commentary. I was actually prepared to let it stand up to that point, but when it starts to impact the PoliticsTOO user base to the point they say something to me, then I’m going to do something.
