Inflation happens. What the f**k do you think has happened to the cost if rent, fuel, food, healthcare, transportation, electricity etc etc over the last ten years? But wages has stayed the same.

No, they haven’t stayed the same. Inflation does happen, yes, but it doesn’t have to happen on purpose. Also, a National minimum wage would be ridiculous. Economies are different in each state and so is the cost of living.

I've seen minimum wage raised several times. The only thing that happens is the cost of the increase is passed on to customers who turns out they work at places with the higher minimum wage. So they spend essentially the same percentage of their checks on the same stuff.

What do you say to businesses in counties that have such a small economy they simply can't afford those rates, nor are those rates needed to achieve a similar standard of living as someone working the same class of job in a big city? A national minimum wage hike would hurt more than it would help.
