It's almost as if the electoral college is a fundamentally corrupt system that disenfranchises countless votes! Glad we're on the same page!

Electoral college makes perfect sense or you just need California Texas and NY and it is over. The TWO PARTY system is FUBAR. Even our founding fathers had said in their written passages from the past that the parties would become greedy and fat. And they both really have.

And, technically, you wouldn't even need the entire states of CA, NY, etc. You would just need the big cities in those states. It's the large cities that would rule the vote. People in Upstate NY, or in rural/suburban CA would also likely have no say, just as if they lived in Wyoming in NH

Does it or have we failed how it was supposed to work? Every state gets input. But at this point we have made big States too powerful. So who is at fault. It was designed to avoid it being a popularity contest and allow small States to get equal representation as large states. California now gets 55 electoral college votes. That is stupid. It should be broken up. A popular vote would become a mess because then it becomes the biggest populations decide everything. And those are the worst places in America really the large cities have been over run with idiots. So in the end it will crash. Not a question of if, just when. When we divide ourselves so vehemently into segments it will fail.

I feel like the party system sucks. If we cut out all foreign influence allow only 10 million for any campaign max and put term limits on congress it would be better. But that will never happen because they have the power and the money. They being RICH politicians on BOTH sides. This was supposed to be a REPUBLIC. Not a party.

No presidential candidate of any party currently gives a f**k about the will of Wyoming or Idaho. They care about swing states, and swing states alone.

It's only decided by 'swing states' because most of the large states, with larger population and electoral votes, are easily won by one side or the other. Groups of other states supply some more electoral votes, to ensure those people have SOME say on what happens to THEM. This is opposed to without an Electoral vote, letting NYC, LA, CHI (and similar cities) effectively have ALL the say (then, there would not be swing states at all). Of course the corruptocrats have wanted no Electoral vote, because they already own the large population of people in the big coastal cities -- otherwise, they'd be screaming the opposite direction.... BUT, for instance, notice how presently there's NO complaining about the Electoral College by the corruptocrats at this moment -- since they lead in Electoral Votes in THIS Election, and it works to their advantage.. If they were not leading in Electoral votes, THEN they would certainly be complaining... Because, it's ALL about THEM winning, period. They're weasels.
