Let's not say "socialist" or "socialism" anymore

What do you mean "anymore"? In the US, Socialism has ALWAYS been a right-wing buzzword used to describe aspects of their opponents that they don't like.

If you watched real news, you would know that dem leadership, after getting their asses handed to them in the elections, have recently actually said the words; we have to stop using the words socialist and socialism. you need to take off the blinders

How can Democrats stop using these words if they were never words that they owned up to in the first place? If Democrats are so socialist, why do actual socialists consistently fail to win election for so much as dog catcher, even in cities that you consider to be populated by socialists?

It's a farce. All it EVER meant in this country was "people who support policies we don't like". It's always been a word you have used on other people, and never a word those people would have used to describe themselves.

And Bernie Sanders lost his nomination bid for the Presidency TWICE. Once to Clinton and once to Biden.

Because Clinton and Biden were not socialist.

Democrats do not like to vote for socialists. The support is not there in the Democratic voting base. The best you can do is to say that Vermont and one district of New York don't mind a legislator who leans into the socialist smear; that's ALL you can do.
