So, about 1 in 17 who get the vaccine will die?

6 out of 100 will die. That reduces to 3 out of 50. So no, your math is wrong.

50/3=16.666, or about 1 in 17 -- as I said.
You're telling me that for every 17 people that get the covid vaccine, one will die?
Where do you get your information?

Yep. The recent news release and the study results. This is common in vaccines, though its a little high.
If you look into it a little deeper you'll see its much higher because lots of people die when re-exposed to covid, so this time they didn't re-expose.

No. Pfizer & Moderna vaccines are 95% EFFECTIVE IN PREVENTING COVID, and I think Moderna said it was 100% effective in preventing severe cases. NOT 94% SURVIVAL RATE. A 94% SURVIVAL RATE vaccine would NEVER be passed by the FDA. There are insufficient IQ's around here, alright, but they wear red hats.

Do you really need sources to believe that a vaccine with a 1 in 17 fatality rate would never even get mentioned by a drug company trying to develop one?

I need a source link to the actual study.

Invalid. They use the word "efficacy" in their release. That means they would have to have had administered the vaccine, then they would have had to exposed them to the virus. This is unethical and not legal in the US.

0.39% infection rate total for both groups together. That doesn't sound right. Statistically their 170 cases falls way outside the normal infection rate of covid, also invalidating the study.
170 cases in the study group with 8 from the vaccine group means a confidence interval of 34 which means it could go up or down by 34 people.

So that study is pretty much invalid.

Did you find the part where 1 in 17 who get the vaccine die? That's what you two are arguing.
