I've been saying that since the start. Smoking kills way more people than covid. Smokers that get covid can hang it up (it's a respiratory disease, you know).
If politicians were serious about throwing down some restrictions, they should have shut down tobacco & vape sales at the start of the pandemic. Former smokers would have had 8+ months to regain some lung function.
