Also, as some additional context, bisexuality, (let alone pansexuality) is far less commonly known, probably because it isn't nearly as well-observed, which is in turn probably because people traditionally only use sex or apparent binary gender when looking at a relationship, in which there is only 2 possible relationships, those being same-sex or opposite-sex, which leaves no room for 'why not both?'. This, as a result, makes things other than gay, straight, ace, and maybe lesbian very under-represented. That being said, bi is more well-known than things like pan or demi, which is why I say I'm bi to most people because saying panromantic demisexual might confuse them.
