I would abolish teachers' unions, and do a lot more to evaluate teachers based on their performance and temperament in the classroom. I had a number of teachers who were basically abusive and should've absolutely been fired.
If I had to change one thing, it would be that it exist. Then replace it with something usefull that doesn't crush your soul. So school, but not evil and menial.
In the future, I'd eventually like to see traditional education replaced with mind augmentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQpYOVvU17Y&feature=emb_logo
It is espiacally hard for me because I have therapy homework, advanced class homework, homeroom homework, and I have anxiety, depression, and ADHD!

I would speed up the curriculum and give more homework. I know everyone's going to be hating on my for saying this, but some people just want to be challenged in school, instead of everything being easy.
You probably have a fast-track mind, like I did when I was younger. Schools don't particularly cater to that.

They don't need a faster curriculum, they need more tailored curriculums, or in some cases, the child might just need to move to a different school to support educational or mental needs their school harms. Not everyone goes fast.
