But the precedent set by the Trump impeachment (i.e. no cooperation whatsoever from either the Executive Branch or the opposite party in Congress), has rendered that entire constitutional process rather fruitless.

We have failed our Founders' vision, who believed politicians would put country over party when it comes to holding Presidents accountable. But they set the bar too high. No sitting President will be removed by impeachment, ever.

Post-Trump, the President of the United States is effectively an elected dictator. The voters get to decide every 4 years, and that is it.
