Why do most people associate Satan with "bad"?

Apparently satan was the snake that convinced Adam (or was it eve) to eat that forbidden fruit

I'm an atheist and I hate christianity, now that may sound really offensive and disrespectful, but you know what else is offensive and disrespectful? Saying that non christians and gay people will burn in hell. So I think that obviously Satan is associated with being evil, but I think that christianity in general is kinda a hate group. The reason Satan is associated with being bad is bcs he's literally the devil, so I think they should've chosen a better name lol

not all Christians are like that, a few of the pastors at my friend's old church are gay, and it's super accepting

I’m sorry but I have to disagree with that. The thing is EVERYONE would have to burn in hell if it weren’t for Jesus. I don’t know who you’ve met that calls themselves a Christian, and I know there are some pretty bad people who try to claim themselves as “Christians”. God can’t have sin in heaven because he is holy, those two things are incompatible. The only choice would be for them to go to hell. Since He is a Good God, he made a way for us to escape hell and come to heaven. He sent his only Son to live a sinless life on earth, go through temptations just like everyone else, and die a terrible death on a Roman torture device called a cross. Because he did all of that he paid the price of Sin for all of humanity. Even Gay people. And 3 days later he rose again and showed the world that he had conquered death! Just accepting that Jesus did all of that for YOU personally and confessing that you are not perfect and need Jesus to save you from hell is the ONLY thing that need to escape hell and go to heaven with God himself when you die.

Because those people use satan symbolically they say. They supposedly don't worship or believe in satan. However the real satan is pure evil. He tempts people into all sin. Hate wouldn't exist were it not for Satan, do saying satan condemns hate is the same as a serial killer condemning murder.

Yes, that is the secular and physical explanation. If you don't believe in God, all it is is chemicals. God and Satan do follow physical laws. However, because we have such little understanding of it, it might as well be magic to us. They can move around hormones in our bodies to accomplish their goals.

Why I put "bad" in quotations. Polarities like black vs white, good vs bad, etc...are social (human) constructs that may have once served a purpose when people first civilized? I dunno... It also just seems to me like a lazy way to blame whatever shitty things you've done on an imaginary "devil'" changing your body around (or some other sci-fi sounding shit, worst excuses ever) vs actually being fully accountable for your own actions.

Ok so the truth is that satan is evil and God is good, no matter what people ( or the devil tbh) say that is the truth.
The church of Satan is lost and deceived just like all humans on earth without Jesus. No one can truly be good because only God is good. God can’t allow sin to be with him because he is holy. Knowing that people are hopelessly lost, God sent his only son to pay the price of sin, which is death. That son’s name is Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless life through temptation and eventually was murdered on a cross, a torture device used by the Romans. Jesus lived his life for us and gave his life for us so that we’d have a way to be with God. 3 days after His death he rose again and conquered death. The only choice we have to make is wether we accept the fact that he died for our sins or if we refuse to believe this.
Jesus is the only way to heaven.
Any way without Accepting Jesus as your savior, you can never enter heaven, but must go to hell.
