Why? There is already a stream for those you follow. Plus if you follow a lot of users you will have a plethora of notifications.

Because some posts will get overlooked if they’re not posted at a good time.

Not in your "followed users" stream. You will see everything there because that stream is so narrowed down.

Oh... but wouldn’t you miss things if you follow 160 users and they post like 30-40 times a day?

You just went right back to getting more notifications than you can manage. If you want to be sure you didn't miss a thing from a single person you follow, you should just go to their page and look. There is no good solution for the scenario you describe.

Tbh i was thinking it’d be a different category of notification, so it wouldn’t mess up the regular notifs. But yeah, it’s a hard thing to solve.
