Reminds me of a story I read some years back about a British tourist who was arrested at the Great Wall of China while wearing a Bilko T-shirt. Seems Bilko reruns were popular on Britsh TV, and Phil Silvers bore an uncanny resemblence to the Dalai Lama, whose likeness is forbidden in China. Fortunately the British Embassy intervened.
