Alright it looks like this actually was a universal problem. Our DNS provider Cloudflare randomly started blocking the feedback requests because they contained debugging html from the page which apparently looked like a hacking attempt. We didn't need that particular debugging information anyway though so we've just disabled it for now and feedback should be working again.
