I think the thing is this. You have to be pretty ideocentric to be offended. Death (and taxes) as they say are the facts of life.
It's not like we as memers and viewers are promoting deaths or god forbid 'dead moms'. Death is mentioned so much it hurts for no particular reason. It helps us as humans to occasionally laugh at it.
I'm sure its statistically possible that somewhere on the planet through the most bizarre circumstances somewhere someone was killed because they liked something with a button press on a social media website. I metaphorically mean in the way one dies reaching for an object on a shelf that might topple a bookcase onto someone. That is absurdly and sure being reminded of this would be unfunny and cruel. Let's just hope and pray that persons family does not read this meme.
