The NV ballot saga winds to a close.

The NV ballot saga winds to a close. | Ok so the reason NV is taking forever with mail ballots is incredibly mundane. The votes sat in a warehouse for weeks and are very creased, so verifying and scanning them takes a couple minutes each. This is the problem with conspiracy theories in a nutshell. Reality is often much more boring than we would like to admit. | image tagged in nevada,it's all about nevada, nevada poll workers, election 2020,2020 elections, conspiracy theories | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

From what I'veseenof human behavior I've come to conclude that conspiracies are actually quite common, almost to the point of ubiquity. But they're almost always quite small, and usually pretty banal. The big ones pretty much always get exposed.

You know, like trump's collusion with putin.

The problem is when people dream up Grand Unified Conspiracy Theories, blaming everything on whichever group they choose to hate. EVIL PEOPLE NEVER WORK TOGETHER FOR LONG. So I usually put large patterns of apparent conspiracy down to groupthink. People need to avoid the "made to make" fallacy. You better have evidence beyond assumed motives, because if not your conspiracy theory is merely a conspiracy hypothesis.
