Expect Nothing Less From People That Don't Look Where They're Driving

Don't mean to burst your bubble. Covid is real and all, but the not being able to get appointments thing isn't because they're in the covid "ward". It's because of covid restrictions. Optometrist, dentists, ob-gyn, etc. Aren't battling covid... The over reaction/ under reaction to this "pandemic" is what is frightening. God forbid we have one with an acute mortality rate.

I have literally been told by a doctor I needed to see that it was hard finding me an appointment because he had to try and fit me into his shifts but he had to see me because he was concerned about my healing from an injury.
So, yeah. This is based on first and second hand experience. In both panels.
The injury I have to see that doctor for is the same one I was coming back from the hospital from and overheard people saying the virus was fake because hospitals were empty.

You saying optometrist indicates you're not in the same country I'm in, anyway. Something you maybe should have considered before telling me that what I wrote is wrong. Region by region is all different in how they respond. This is what's happening where I am. And it's no exaggeration.

Should I have said eye doctor? Unless you live in a town where there is a "town doctor" this is the world we live in.

Again, not in the same country. We don't even call them eye doctors here. Different regions have different healthcare systems and so the virus requires different action in those different regions. I'm in a badly hit small city.
