But trans does not necessarily mean different gender... A trans woman is a woman and a trans man is a man. Yes, there are non-binary people who identify as trans because their body doesn't feel androgynous enough (like afabs with difficult to ignore breasts, for example), but trans itself is not a gender - let alone a non-cis one.

Pansexual means you simply don't care about gender. There is no list of genders you have to tick off or anything. Fact is, there are way more cisgender people than people of different genders and it's not unusual to not have encountered someone of another gender you're attracted to.
