And some passive racist things you and others regardless of political party may be doing are: cultural appropriation, making Asian jokes or assumptions, calling COVID the “kung flu” or other offensive names, and/or using the COVID-19 virus as an excuse to stay away from people of East Asian descent, or use offensive language to them. While this may not seem like a big deal to you, it is to others who are being affected by these things every day.

If, as an Asian, you experienced racism in your area of the country, then do something about it in your area of the country.
