This infuriates me... that I got the ever-living christ beaten out of me k-4th grade and was told to go kill myself in middle school and was told that people in Iran and other countries get murdered for being gay and we're pissed off about THIS!?!? LGBTQ+ is better than this and this right here is a waste of time when we could be helping people.

It's not the joke itself that bothers me - it's the phrase "real girl" and the implication that trans girls aren't real girls. They probably don't even realize that things like that can be hurtful which is the even bigger problem here. It's not enough that it was "meant as a joke"... "I saw a guy wearing a dress yesterday but then I beat him back to normal" is also a joke, but hurtful nonetheless. And if someone tells me that the joke offended them it's not helpful to tell them to "be a man and grow a pair" because I was just trying to be funny.

Bruh. If you are straight and the girl you are with takes out her dick, then I am perfectly fine with you breaking up with her and never seeing her again. Remember, in an ideal relationship you need to have trust and comfort. If the other person is not ok with dating someone trans, than you need to respect their wish.
