What rights don't they have yet?

Gay marriage was a huge, well-publicized fight, but it is not the only issue on the table. Trump’s “support for LGBTQ” during his presidency has fallen short in many respects.

From persecuting trans people in the military, to not passing new rights-protecting legislation, to arguing for the rollback of existing federal civil rights protections, to appointing actual homophobes to his Administration, not to mention the Supreme Court.

Two of the Justices that cast votes in support of the 5-4 decision that legalized gay marriage are no longer on the bench. So, the new justices could reverse it if presented with a proper case.

Unquestionably, Democrats firmly stand for continuing to expand LGBTQ rights and vigorously protecting those already won.

A Biden Administration will get LGBTQ progress back on track.

Whatever makes him popular. Biden and Obama both opposed gay marriage but conveniently changed when votes were on the line. Trump has been the first presidential candidate to support LGBTQ before and during his run for office.

And so would Hillary Clinton have been the first President to support gay marriage from Day 1 of her Presidency. A sign of how quickly public opinion moved on this issue.

But Biden's won't half ass it either? This is the same Joe Biden who pushed to re instill segregation laws in the 70's but now he's all for racial movements.

Tl;dr, politicians are capable of evolving.

If Abraham Lincoln here could evolve from giving a textbook recitation of white supremacy (words spoken at a Lincoln-Douglas debate) to freeing the slaves and pushing for the passage of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments within a matter of years, then Biden too is capable of evolving.

You could say similar things about LBJ’s political trajectory prior to passing the Civil Rights Act.

Serving as VP under our nation’s first black President for 8 years and then choosing a woman of color to be his running-mate are pretty clear indications of his evolution.

Trump on the other hand, if anything, has gone the total opposite direction on issues of social justice within his lifetime.

Because Mike Pence's 'Summer camps' are totally not conversion centres, and if they were, Trump would NEVER let that happen. (Sarcasm intended)
