Before you begin:
Have the training guide loaded make sure that you have no package and your DOC uniform on only. And make sure they are in a STS formation somewhere and in front of you, and if they do any type of movement or joke around they fail automatically. And make sure to ask them what they have learned. If they can’t answer in 2 minutes they didn’t take notes or pay attention to you.

:m Some scenarios you may come across in DOC are hemorrhages...
:m Cuts, bruises, airway stoppage, suffocation, and so on.
:m After this phase you will know what to do in those types of scenarios. And we expect you to perfect every scenario, understood? EVERY. LITTLE. SCENARIO.
:m Does anyone know what a hemorrhage is? (Wait around and let them tell you what is their definition of a hemorrhage) (then explain what is a hemorrhage)
:m A hemorrhage is an escape of blood from a ruptured blood vessel, especially when profuse.simply explained as loss of blood.
:m Who knows what to do if somebody had a hemorrhage? (wait until they have answered to explain what to do if a prisoner had a hemorrhage)
:m One way to treat a hemorrhage is rubber band ligation, rubber band ligation involves applying a tiny rubber band to the base of an internal hemorrhoid.

:m AED ( Automated External Defibrillator) - An Automated External Defibrillator ( AED) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation (VF) and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of
