Self-awareness: recognizing oneself as a person
Self-regulation: recognize & identify one's emotions; controlling urges caused by powerfully-felt emotions
Social skills: analyzing social situations & deciding upon a path that leads to an optimal outcome for all parties involved without causing injury to any party's emotions
Empathy: relating with & identifying others' emotions & feelings; recognizing potential sources of others' emotions and act/react to situations accordingly
