Okay okay let's break this down
1. "Women's professional sports teams" vs. "the equivalent men's team"
This posits a plural women's "teams" vs. a singular men's "team," totally illogical. So: which is it? Is this the top women's team vs. the top men's team? Or more of an invitation-only "Pro Bowl" type situation?
2. "One chance every five years"
lol... ONCE every 5 years the women earn ONE shot at pay equity. I dunno, for an issue of this importance could the ladies get a chance at fairness at least once a month? How about once a week?
3. "If the women tie or win..."
If the women tie OR WIN(!!) then they *merely* get pay equity. But if the ladies actually won (despite the inherent size and physical differences with men which are the entire reason for women's sports leagues in the first place), then they ought to get paid way way more, right?
4 "If the women lose..."
Then they have to sit down and shut up about pay equity until their next very rare shot at equality comes in 5 years. Classy!
