In the European Union, faceless self-important, overpaid bureaucrats with useless college degrees make laws for nations they don’t even live in. For example, the United Kingdom, as members of the European Union, were only allowed to catch 20% of the fish in British territorial waters. This cost us tens of thousands of jobs in coastal communities. These bureaucrats who make these outrageous rules are unelected, and they cannot be removed.

The European Parliament meets in Brussels, but once a month, they load the contents of their offices and papers into large plastic containers, and load them into lorries, and they drive them nearly 650 miles to a French city named Strasbourg, and the parliament then sits there. This happens twelve times a year, from an organisation who claim that they want to reduce their level of carbon footprint. Their accounts have not been given a clean bill of health by the auditors for the last twenty years. Moving backwards and forwards between Brussels and Strasbourg costs €300 million every year. And this cannot be reformed, because that would require all 28 member governments to agree. The French are never going to agree to that, because it is in their economic interests for the EU traveling circus to go to Strasbourg every month. The institutions themselves are virtually incapable of reform.

I’ll be damned if I’m going to give up my rights as a British citizen so that some European bureaucrat can tell me how to live my own life. So it is no wonder that, on June the 23rd, 2016, the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union. Some people are refusing to accept this fair outcome. They are demanding for a second referendum to be held, without the outcome of the first one. They refuse to abide by the rules of democracy. The European Union opposes democracy, and the same goes for those who wish for the UK to remain there, despite the fair democratic outcome.

The EU was created for one purpose: Peace. This goal has been achieved. It was awarded the Nobel peace prize in 2012.

The EU has a strong commitment to legal and human rights. It also has 7.3% of the world's population but accounts for 23% of the nominal global GDP. It's trade policies have also helped reduce prices for consumers. Increased trade with the EU creates jobs and higher income.

According to a study conducted over 10 years, the single market has boosted the EU's GDP by £588 billion, representing an average of £3819 extra income per household. While we are on the subject, lets also talk about how the UKs GDP is higher than it would be if it hadn't joined. Poorer countries have experienced an even higher boost to their GDP.

Countries in the EU are also among the countries with the highest HDI. Structural funds given by the EU to Eastern European economies actually help in the long term, because, as they become more affluent, they will be able to buy more UK exports. Immigration from the EU has also helped fill labour market shortages, as well as immigrants being net contributors to the UK treasury. The EAW scheme has made it easier to track criminals across the European Continent. Consumers can also shop anywhere in the EU without paying Tariffs.

Social charters put in place by the EU have also helped protect worker's rights across the EU.

The EU have also raised the quality of sea water and beaches to make it less harmful to aquatic life. In 2006, they committed to decreasing their carbon emissions from 1990 by 20% by 2020. They also committed to spending $375 billion a year to decrease their 1990 emission levels by 80% by 2050. As well as this, they put strict regulations on pollutants like Sulphur, which cause acid rain.

Just so you know, I am fully aware about the Euro and it's drawbacks, but the UK wasn't even part of that, so that isn't a valid claim.

And finally, your claims that the EU isn't democratic are BS. It is. Search it up.

The EU has not achieved "peace" at all. They do not support human rights because they oppose democracy. They are far-left fascist globalists, and possibly even the Fourth Reich. Open borders and excessive rules are destroying the EU member nations. And just because the UK was not a part of the Euro does not mean that claiming the Euro has drawbacks is an invalid claim. And finally, your claims that the EU is democratic are BS. It is. Search it up (but not on Google, which sucks).

Prove all of that. You are just throwing around wild claims. The EU isn't very transparent, but think about everything that it has done. Give me proof that it isn't democratic. Give me proof that it hasn't achieved peace. Give me proof that it is a big conspiracy thought out by the Germans to control your lives. Give me proof that open borders are destroying the nations. Give me proof that all of your claims are believable and not Conspiracy Theories.

Give me one instance were 2 or more EU countries have declared war on each other while part of the EU.

Heck, your sentences don't make the tiniest bit of sense. I think that your claim of them being 'Far-left fascist globalists' is based of the (Very English) idea that Germany is running the EU. Check up if Germany is running the EU on as many search engines as you want.

Either way, Far-left and Fascist are polar opposites. Fascist is far-right. Again, one word: Proof.

I said the thing about the Euro and the Pound because the EU has allowed the UK to keep the Pound, therefore meaning that leavers (like yourself) claiming that the UK should have leave because of the Euro are invalid.

I am not throwing around wild claims here. You are throwing around wild claims without providing any proof. How can you ask me to source my claims if you haven't done that yourself? And I never said that 2 or more EU countries declared war on each other while part of the EU. Also, fascism is extreme authoritarianism, and I don't think it exists only on the right. Plus, I am saying that other EU member nations should leave because they are stuck with the Euro.

You said that the EU isn't peaceful.

Fascism is extreme authoritarianism, just on the right. Stalinism is extreme authoritarianism on the left.

You want proof?
