Yes, kids immune system is generally about to shake off Covid. They almost never need care. I'm not worried about my kids at all. They are back in-person in school and life is finally getting back to normal. I worry about my parents who are high risk. They live just miles away, but I haven't seen them within less they 20 feet in 8 months. We do things like sit in our car to visit.

Be smart people, but don't panic. We're nearly through this thing.

This is ALL in your head. None of this happened. He never said "not to care" he said not to PANIC. Panic just leaves everyone cr*pping themselves and we have no toilet paper. As the WHO said, lock-downs down work in the long term. Once you re-open, you just get a wave. Lock-downs can only be used to allow the healthcare system to prepare... which is exactly what we did. People take personal risks going to rallies, riots, football games, school, etc. We all need to look at our situation and make choices. I don't know what Herman Cain's co-morbities or the state of his health. Maybe he made bad choices remaining in public life instead of sheltering in place. It was his decision. People ride motorcycles with no helmet... its legal in my state. As they say 'let those who ride decide.' We're a free country.

Bottom line, we handled this global pandemic very. You have to look at the cost / benefit of every decision made, not just the cost. Things are improving and we'll be out of this soon.

Korea has forced isolation if you travel, have a temperature or come in contact with someone who is sick. They essentially put you in jail for 2 weeks. They track you by your cell phone (which you are required to carry) so they can see if you're location crosses locations with a sick person.

Can we force any of that in the US? No, it would all be completely illegal.
