There's actually lots of proof that homework is very bad for students, I did research on it once. Studies have shown that having reading logs actually makes reading less enjoyable for children. Homework also takes away time from your family which can be unhealthy, AND there have been polls taken from junior high and highschool students and most of the reason for stress according to the students was homework.
