Almost every serious media outlet backs their news and stories with facts, no matter of any party affiliation. But when it comes to "facts about liberals", theres a lot of bullshit being flung especially from "sources" which are recognized as highly unreliable at best and usually being run and/or sponsored by ultraconservatives and the alt-right (with no sharp defined borders).
Oh, and being backed by a number of Republicans.

It makes me wonder why a good deal of Americans do not only believe in those steaming piles but do also defend them even if they know that these "news" are distorted lies. I mean, everyone with a working set of brains should be able to see behind the allegations made by "Birthers" or the debunked accusations against Hillary Clinton or Hunter Biden.
