Yeah, sure. But why bury them at all? Sure, it's poetic, but it really doesn't make sense to me. I imagine the Jawas or some other scavenger will only come along to discover them. Just because Palps, the Empire and the First Order are gone, doesn't mean there won't be a need for Jedi.
