Here's a video of a BLM "riot" hosting a peaceful violin vigil for the death of a teenager who died via chokehold. Police claim that these people were throwing rocks and wielding sticks, but have -never- put forward any evidence to support the claim. Instead, it was riot police called for a vigil. Excessive force used.

This summer is the summer when some supporters of BLM had enough of the violence of Patriot Prayer, Proud Boys and excessive use of force by police.

Even so, those who actually rioted are a small, small number of bad actors who are likely instigated by spotted Boogaloo Bois, a right-wing extremist group who endorses anarchy. There are many articles that cite right-wing instigation as the cause for these riots.

Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer et al have been using the police as a shield for their racial epithets knowing that no one will assault them so long as they have the protection of the police. This has been going on for years. This year, I imagine people have had enough.
