This should be Democrats’ starting-point, with wiggle-room to negotiate with the small rump of the GOP left after Nov. 3.

I don’t see packing the court as a solution. It’ll set a precedent that will do little more create problems further down the line from what’s proven to be a vindictive, spiteful GOP.

The answer is term limits. No public servant should be a lifetime appointment. I’ve read the House Democrats are considering proposing an 18-year term limit and I’m okay with that.

There’s a lot that needs to be overhauled with our system. SCOTUS term limits is just the tip of the iceberg.

3 options I see as perfectly acceptable.

1. Create a 13/15 seat supreme court.

2. Divest the supreme court's power of judicial review

3. 1/3 of the Supreme Court Justices face a retention vote, every 4 years. (Meaning all Justices face a vote once every 6 years)

Me personally, I'd take both options 1 and 3. Option 2 leaves a power vacuum to be fixed.

I see only one option as acceptable. Annul the Russpublican rigged 2016 "election" and all trump appointments and executive orders. This is an illegitimate administration and it should be treated as such.

That... actually makes sense

Hanging on to a constitution which is a) 250 years old, b) being based on the set of the former rulers, c) was already flawed in many points and d) works less and less in todays world...

There are so many constitutions which are working way better - even the one the USA had more or less ditcated upon West Germany after 1945 and has also reached its limits.

This is the task the USA has to tackle within the next years.
