The interim position I hold, and which I hope to retain if the people will it, is Director of Homeland Security and/or Head of ICE.

Of course by "if the people will it", you mean if you will it.

All positions will be elected or appointed once we have a framework for government.

A framework which itself can only be decided democratically.

You're not allowing certain people to run for those positions, though. Democracy is great, and you clearly don't support it.
