I’m currently at 45K points and I need to get to 60K points for my next icon and can someone help me for the rest of the icons?

The short answer to "how many" is that there are 47 icons. The long answer is a little more complicated.

Do you think the AMOUNT of points to get the next icon will change, as you can see, i just got out of the crown phase, and I'm about to go into the double star phase, sure it's satisfying to get a new icon, but when the only thing that differs is the color it's a little less satisfying. Hard to say. A few years ago, you used to be able to earn a green matrix icon at 10 million points. https://imgflip.com/user/Imgflip is the only user who currently has the icon and Raydog (maybe DashHopes as well?) was the only other user to earn it. It got retired a while back though so only Imgflip has access to it.

Imgflip is indeed Dylan's account. Imgflip's points I believe are a sum of the total points the Imgflip community has earned as a whole with over a billion points so it really wouldn't make sense to place it as #1 as they're not really an active user.

so it's basically the community and global mods' job to run this site considering how active he is, so Imgflip's latest image popped up recently, (not too recently but you know what I mean) so he MADE it 5 years ago, so did he come on the site and feature it, or it just happened? cuz looking at his latest comments he usually comes on 1-2 times a year.

Heck, an hour or so again I was thinbking of changing mine back to the "lol" one simply because of the supidity of it all. I don't even know which one I have now, some stars, I believe.

yeah, i just wish they could maybe change it up a bit, I've been here for 2 months the rate I'm growing will slow down a TON because for my next icon i need 400k points then i think 460k or something like that.

Look at mine. Are you in awe of its sheer awesomeness? No, and you shouldn't, because it's a triad of stars, one a a few in different colors.

But if it's that important to you, here's a quick tip: The key is upvotes. I gave you one, and you gave none in return. Doesn't matter to me, but to you and others like you, it will when those like me cease giving those like you upvotes which you already were getting none from those like you because math.
That includes when your comments get lowrated by downvotes and no one gives a crap.

i know that, i am deep into the community, normally when ppl are talking they just give an upvote to they're comment, i just wasn't thinking, i usually do give upvotes and that is when I see that somebody gave me an upvote, i didn't know if you were the one to get my comment to 4 upvotes, people sometimes randomly upvote comments.

I don't solely focus on that it's an aesthetic thing everything i do here does not really matter, i am here for the fun of being in the community, i made it sound like my purpose here is just for points and icons, these things are just side goals.

Like most things in life, Imgflip gets easier the more time you spend on it. It does take a little more time to earn the icons (for example, I'm not getting a new icon until I pass 4 million points) but you also start getting more traction and making friends which makes climbing up the leaderboard so much easier.

Which matters why?
