A very popular and dynamic stream went off the rails very, very quickly once a certain memer's candidacy put basic human rights on the ballot, and the Mods there couldn't find it in themselves to DQ him.

Looks like some heavy-hitters are trying to "take it back" now, and I wish them luck. I don't want IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS to be destroyed. But the homophobic memer of whom we speak has an unknowable number of fellow politics trolls backing him, inveigled by these "free speech absolutism" ideas, who don't otherwise participate in the roleplay stream. Even permitting him to run even if he ultimately loses is inherently risky and apparently intolerably so to the LGBTQ community.
