He said something similar about Latinos a few months ago, about the same time he said that they're more diverse than blacks, but they really helped society as a whole because they continued to work at their food service jobs. I need to get to bed, otherwise I'd look up the exact quote.

I know the quote (or at least a similar one) ...He said that Blacks were not as "diverse" as Latinos and got away with it as the media had protected him. In the segregation era, he was against desegregation because (his quote....and specifical to Blacks going to White-only schools) schools would become "jungle". There is so much racism from this guy to fill a book....a very large book....Including him (and the top democrats...obama, clintons, Schumer etc) attending the funeral of a leader of the KKK :Byrd.
