Great card game. And leads to this Historical tidbit of the day:

Hitler and the Nazi Party NEVER WON A MAJORITY in any German election. Yet the Nazis were able to consolidate power, establish the “Third Reich,” and cancelled or rendered all future elections meaningless anyway.

Tl;dr: fascists use intimidation and pressure tactics to appear larger than they are and overcome democratic deficits, and co-opt other parties who do have a commitment to democracy, till they can move in for the kill.

They do this by staying “secret.” Either literally secret (concealing their party affiliation), or by publicly sowing doubt about their true motives, etc.

Don’t buy it. Out the fascists in our midst whenever and wherever you can.

Being fascist is, in reality, both sides, far left, and far-right it's just a sign of abuse of power and corruption.
