Very incomplete list of topics we’re happy to debate around here:
Taxes, spending, welfare, climate change, foreign policy, the Supreme Court, governmental structure, election procedures, drafting and amending the Constitution.

Topics closed for debate:
Whether racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, and other bigotry is okay. It’s not.

We take the latter topics off the table both because the right answer there should be patently obvious and in order to create a space where substantive discussion of more complex governmental issues is possible.
