He took it extremely seriously. He closed Travel to China and Europe. He shut down the entire economy. He used executive powers to take over private corporations and have them make PPE and Vents. He personally gave daily press briefings for months. Not a single person in the US that needed a hospital bed or vent didn't get it. He approved TRILLIONS in spending. While taking the unprecedented actions, he reminded Americans to remain calm... we'll get through this. And, he was right. We still don't know how or when it will end, but we know it will. These things always pass.

Telling people risks are low for the average American, which is true, is not the same as calling it a hoax. There are 2 outcomes. Either Trump dies, the radical left was right about the deadliness of the virus and Sleep Joe drifts aimlessly to victory. Or, Trump will be fine, he was right about the deadliness and he pushes forward for a strong victory.

Trump is modeling the behavior he encouraged. At his age and weight, he has a 96% chance of being fine. He kept working, didn't hide in the basement and took a understood risk. This is what adults do. There are risks in everything... driving a car, swimming, eating an unhealthy died, not exercising. We accept risks all the time. Why everyone goes nuts about this one risk isn't logical. Clearly you should take measures to reduce your risk... wash hands, wear mask and get your fitness up... but, we can't end civilization over this.

He said all of those things publicly. Is it a surprise to anyone that a small percentage of people die? We knew that from China last year. We had cruise ships off our shores with dead people on them. This is all public knowledge. In fact, we believed then it was much more deadly... something more like Ebola. Ebola killed virtually everyone who got it. This generally only kills you of you have several commodities. People were panicking, hoarding toilet paper and buying guns. Trump played it perfectly by calming nerves. How would more panic of helped? At the time the World Health Organization was saying masks don't work and are harmful because it causes you to touch your face. Trump couldn't have said then to wear a mask. They flipped their opinion. If you want to be enraged about this global pandemic, direct your rage to China and the World Heath Organization. Both blew this thing totally. Trump was wise to take the bold move of blocking travel to China (radical left called him racist for doing this) and to pull funding from WHO because of their gross negligence.

He and everyone in the world knew it was deadly last year. That is not news to anyone. Some people go overboard with Masks. They wear them when they are alone in a car. Biden often wears a mask even when no one is near him and he's alone outside. I find it odd. I think the President does too. That is not to say you should wear a mask at the correct times.

I actually think the reason Biden likes to over-wear masks is because his face is so strange looking from too much plastic surgery.
