There is a great disrespect for the flag these days. According to the Flag Code the flag is never to be worn as a garment.

Let meclarify, it is fine to judge the actions of another, but saying what you did without actually knowing him is prejudice just like racism.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Laws are guidelines that depend on people having respect for each other.

More serious laws are written with teeth to punish people that have no concern for others.

Beside, I would rather have no interaction with the government.

The Flag Code is a law. But, it has no enforcement clause.

I thought is was a form of being patriotic.

Patriotism is one thing to one person and something completely different to another. And, it can mean different things to the same person. Many people on both sides of the aisle, but mostly on the right today are situational patriots. I'd just like some old fashioned respect. I think I need to check myself on that issue from time to time. And, I know that a whole lot of people speaking publicly today appear to need to do so, also. Respecting others begins with yourself.
