Translating News-speak : Asymptomatic corona virus = False positive test . I'm on the list for having it twice and I probably never had it .

No the $5 test will show a negative if you have covid without symptoms. Its basically a crappier test than the PCR which was already pretty crappy.
It doesn't do any good because people that have symptoms will just stay home and it won't detect people without symptoms.
