Finally getting around to watching it. Anybody else feel like a hypocrite while watching?

This is too far abstract to be real. Vegetarians and conservationists are dissimilar. I say so having been vegan and dated a conservationist.

I'm saying this is like trying to be sypathetic. You just cannot mix and match causes. The cause has to be personal. Then you can make legitimate memes.

Does that make sense; I know most of what I say is heard as mean. I'm presuming you have not tried both to save animals In the wild and on your dinner plate with all your heart.

Well yes, I haven't taken up either cause with gusto.
My only real offering is I've provided a home to many cats I found as strays throughout my life. It's more than some have done and it's less than others.
So I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of the majority of people who never lifted a finger to help animals in the wild or bred for food who denounce others for animal abuse.
Nothing more, nothing less. I think you're wrong about the legitimacy of my meme. Hypocrisy can be spotted even by a hypocrite like me.
Not to mention the hypocrisy of even saving housecats and feeding them through their lives with countless chickens, turkeys, cows and fish. Animal lover in one sense yet accommodating apex predators who need lots of animal protein to stay healthy.
I appreciate you're bringing forward your perspective. I'm interested in what you have to say.

I've always had a fondness for the following story. My grandmother took in countless stray cats on her farm. I suppose I am a hypocrite. On that same farm I took in exactly on stray cat. I held it in my arms as the vet put her down. That was thirteen years later on the same day my step-uncle (who was still living on that farm died.)

It's a mercy if the cat is suffering. 13 years is a good run. I've been in the same sitch sometimes longer sometimes shorter. Strange coincidence with your step-uncle. Sorry to hear that.
