And times changed. In the case of the two biggest political parties in the U.S. the change was so drastic that it's hard to believe, and since it isn't a convenient fact for you, therefore a nice one to refuse to acknowledge, but still the change took place.

Come to think of it, does it make sense that it's republican voters who use the confederate flag to mock black people, as the confederate flag is seen as a symbol of slavery, while it was a Republican who ended slavery? Taking that alone in mind got me to do research and the outcome shocked me too. But I guess since I ain't from the U.S. myself and can therefore take a neutral stance (believe me, I am shocked with the number of non-US-civilians who know US history better than US-civilians do) it was easier for me to accept this outcome.

Think about it... Conservatism is about keeping things the way they are. Trump voters are conservatives.... In Lincoln's time slavery was deemed as "normal"... As a "legit" business. It only became a crime after Lincoln abolished it. With that Lincoln created a new era and that is what conservatives don't live... The word conservatism even implies it.... Conservatism is one of the reasons Lincoln was murdered. And which party is conservative today? Right the Republican party. The entire idea of taking slaves away was progressive thinking, in the U.S. falsely called "liberalism" (which is a wrong usage of the term). Which party is considered to be that today... Exactly the Democrat party!
By the way, Biden was not involved in the abolishing of slavery or preserving slavery, so whether or not he's "senile" won't change the past.

But that's what I think, and you can't prove me wrong, since Lincoln himself is the only one who can answer that, and I do not know how to practice necromancy.

Yeah, I know, the truth hurts. And I know how much hemorrhoids hurt, as I suffer from those regularly, and trust me, the pain they cause do not come close to the pain we call "truth".
