Interesting remodel, but I don't really like the "regressive" and "progressive" axis. I think the "activist" and "preservationist" axis sounds more appropriate. You either support keeping the current system or reforming to a new one. I think that I am on the "activist" side since I do not support the current system (on imgflip, I mean).

Here is a good way of thinking about this: If I win this election, and if I do get my campaign promises through during my term, then I think I would flip to on the "preservationist" in the next election, because I would support keeping the new system I have created.

It does, but being on the regressive side does not indicate that you want it to stay the same in the slightest. Being in the center indicates you want little growth. Being on the right indicates you want to go back to the old Imgflip, which is simpler. Being on the left indicates you want more, newer rules and regulations

Ah I see. But the political compass axis I was referring to spoke of the IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS stream, not the website itself. I was talking about whether we wanted to keep or change the current system in this stream, which is not at all like the old imgflip. I guess there are multiple valid political spectrums for this election.
