To be fair, it's their own fault. It started with Harry Reid back in 2013 when he got a bit too cocky and thought the Dems were going to run the table for the rest of president Obama's term, when he removed the filibuster for judicial nominations. Altough not scotus nominations. That allowed McConnel to easily go nuclear and do the same for scotus nominations in 2017. Then the whole mess was punctuated by the Dems savage treatment of Justice Kavanaugh.
I'm no fan of Lyndsey Graham, but he pointed out that based on the Dems behavior with Kavanaugh, he had no problem flip flopping on what he said about Judge Garland's nomination as it related to the 2016 election.
Sure, a politician (or politicians) flip flopping is not exactly breaking news, but I think it's somewhat noteworthy within the context of this discussion.
And if they think that threatening to pack the court, should they regain control of the senate, is going to get any republicans to skip voting in 2020, then they're more delusional than even I had imagined.
