Worked for a company with a private jet (Citation V). The pilots thought the FAA regulation about turning off cell phones was ridiculous and would fly just under 4,000 ft so we could use our cell phones. Did it for 10 years and according to the pilots, everyone in aviation knows that cell phones have no impact on avionics.
