fun fact: china actually had a Robinhood emperor back then.
He became emperor by killing a lot (and I mean a LOT, even for a chinese emperor's standard) of his relatives.
But he kept taxes low and ruined a lot of rich peoples' lives so the general public thought of him as a good person.
Basically, you can be a literal monster but no one will care as long as you give them money.
