Actually quite a few religions think pork isn't tasty: a majority of Adventists, Jews, and Buddhists too

Many Asians eat dog and cat. Not only both Chinese and Koreans, but also Filipinos, Thais, Vietnamese, Malaysians and Indonesians

Could also be the depiction of the Dutch idiom "De hond in de pot vinden", which literally means "Finding the dog in the pot". The idiom means that you get to the dinner table too late and that all the other people ate everything and that there's nothing left for you.

Oh and "racist"? When I hear stereotypical jokes about Dutch, Germans, Belgians, English, Americans, Canadians, French, Scottish, Irish, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Austrian, Swiss, Luxembourgian, then it's just funny and as soon as it's Chinese it's racist.... I can speak some actually, I'm also taking it in highschool. And I have been to China and eaten dog. It was in the city YanJi near the north Korean border. I lived at YUST, a university there with my family. Then I moved to ChengDu a southern city famous for its spicy food. I only lived in China for 1 and a half years, we had to move back to the USA because of a health condition my mother has.

Guys you need to watch some Asian [Chinese, Korean] shows cause they do not eat dogs ad cats.
