Hey just wanted to alert you to this meme on Politics_Redux. Someone flagged it for abuse:

I can tell you I think it’s extremely racist and would unfeature it, but I don’t know if either of us have ever had to do that yet on the stream, and I know it aims to be open to all viewpoints (short of harassment/abuse) so just wanted to check with you first re: proper protocol.

I believe we had a policy of wanting to talk with abusers of stream TOS — something leads me to suspect a person who creates a meme like that wouldn’t listen but I’m willing to take some time to do that if you’d like.

I expect we may be seeing more borderline content on the stream as the election approaches so let me know how you’d like me to handle on my own or talk to you first.

Another option is disabling auto-feature but that will require extra steps and may not be worth it unless this happens again and again.

If you are willing, talk to the poster. Try to convince him to take his own meme down, if you can. But I don't know how far that'll go, if anywhere at all. In the end, just use your best judgement.

Ya know, I think talking to him is just as like likely if not more so to inflame him and cause him to go on a racist warpath. Someone who posts a meme like that is not looking for genuine debate and I have better things to do with my time.

I think imma just unfeature it without fuss and a minimal explanation if any.

Go ahead, I trust you know what you may be getting yourself into, but do be advised that he may not take it lightly. In a worst case scenario he could decide to spam the stream, or other harassment. I probably won't be on until a few days later, guess I'll find out then.

Maybe not too racist for this site’s mods, but too racist for any stream I wish to be responsible for.
