"Never forget 9/11"

What about deaths that occur in other days? Do you not care about other days? All days matter. Checkmate liberal.

So your against remembering Pearl Harbor and 9/11? We set those days apart for a reason.

But what about a day where no major disaster occurred that is not widely memorialized in the US?

The gist of my point is that commemorating the deaths that happen during 9/11 does not mean you don't care about deaths happening in other days, just like how saying black lives matter doesn't mean other lives don't matter.

Ya but setting apart a day of remembrance over other days does elevate the deaths suffered that day over other deaths on non-remembrance days. Kinda makes it so saying black lives matter elevates the death of blacks above all other races.

Fair, but it doesn't change the fact that black lives matter doesn't mean other lives don't matter.

Maybe not, but it’s not a unifying slogan nor does it promote equality.
