Thats a bad idea to go back to the gold standard. Almost all electronics have gold in them these days, its a good conductor you get the deal. So by saying that tiny sliver of an ounce of gold is worth xyz amount of money the cost of electronics will skyrocket as that gold is money that you are literally putting in there. So thats bad

Being as gold IS a store of value there SHOULD be a price shift when the fiat currency loses 98% of the original purchasing value, just like has happened to the dollar since 1913. Trust me, the price of all the PM's WILL be increasing in value to pay for the Liberal government overspending for the last 50 years.
